How do you follow a quest route?

In the Quest guide, select faction and race, inspect the step's level and move through the route. Panels show objectives and quest hand-ins; X/Y pins belong to the displayed zone map.

Are Classic quests identical in Forever?

Not guaranteed. Routes come from Vanilla Questing/Classic. Forever may move quest givers, change rewards or add quests. Follow the actual in-game journal rather than treating the historical route as a beta confirmation.

Is progress saved?

The Next control changes the step without maintaining permanent quest-completion history. Step links remain shareable.

What should I do if a quest giver has moved in the beta?

First confirm your faction, starting race and the zone shown on the map. X/Y coordinates refer to that zone's map, not universal GPS coordinates. If a giver or objective differs from the Classic-derived route, rely on the live Forever quest log and use the Quests tool to check adjacent steps rather than treating old waypoints as certain.

For objectives that require an item from another player or a vendor, the quest-item sourcing guide distinguishes the finished item from its crafting pattern. The database cannot confirm live inventory or a particular server's restock timer.
