METHODOLOGY

Sources and data reliability

How the data is assembled, where it comes from and the limits of WoW Forever information.

Reference reviewed :

Our rule: a reference is not a live confirmation

ForEveroth is an independent community companion for WoW Forever and WoW Classic. An item record, a map marker or a Classic coordinate does not prove that the same content is available on Forever. We distinguish beta-client data, historical community databases, player reports and actual in-game verification. Unverified records are identified as references.

Where each module's data comes from

Mining
GatherLite (MIT) with Wowhead Forever references: raw locations (JSON). X/Y are zone map percentages tied to an UiMapID, not Earth GPS coordinates. No live ore detection.
Vendors and trainers
Wowhead Classic guides and other attributed references in the NPC dataset. Classic NPC locations, item sales and historical restock reports are not confirmed on Forever.
Professions
Versioned WoW Forever beta-client comparisons and community archives, recorded in the professions dataset. Recipes found in client data are not proof of in-game availability.
Talents
Talents Forever (CC BY 4.0 data). Talent details may change between game builds.
Gear and pre-BiS
WoW Classic references combined with Forever beta item records in the local dataset. Datamined gear may not be obtainable. Classic pre-BiS suggestions are not certified Forever rankings.

How to interpret the guides

A guide's reviewed date means its editorial content was checked, not that any spawn or vendor was verified in game on that date. Map reference counts are not spawn probabilities or concurrent ore totals. Vendor wait reports are never guaranteed. Raw source links make claims auditable, subject to source license terms.
